A number of former West Ham players have taken to Twitter to congratulate both the club and Joe Hart on the England international’s recent move to the London Stadium.
Hart was confirmed as a West Ham player on Tuesday afternoon following a successful medical, and will stay with the Hammers for one season having agreed a year long loan-deal. He has since joined up with his new team-mates in Austria for pre-season, and could be set for his debut as early as this evening as Slaven Bilic’s men take on Fulham in their second game of their European tour.
The Manchester City keeper was frozen out of the Sky Blues squad by manager Pep Guardiola last summer, and after having spent a season on loan in Serie A with Torino, Hart is now looking to revitalise his career in England with West Ham.
A number of former players, including Hammers shot stopping legend David James, have taken to Twitter to share their joy at the club’s new signing …
All the best Joe Hart, great signing for @WestHamUtd . #COYI #GKunion

Albeit a loan, Joe Hart is a fantastic capture for #WestHam an excellent GK but more importantly, exactly the type of character they need.🔝
