Brentford midfielder Jota is set to complete a move to West Ham, says Read West Ham.
Linked with the former Celta Vigo star throughout the summer, the Hammers are set to complete the deal for the Spaniard as they look to replace departed midfielder Havard Nordtveit who joined Bundesliga side Hoffenheim earlier this month.
The 26-year-old enjoyed a promising first season for the Bees in 2014/15, as he scored 11 times and provided three assists, before sustaining an ankle injury and subsequently moving to Eibar on loan.
Jota returned to Brentford in January after a successful spell in La Liga, and picked up exactly where he left off as in English football. The Spaniard scored an impressive 12 times in 21 games for Dean Smith’s side in the latter half of last season, and rolled on five assists for his team-mates as he helped the Bees to a 10th placed finish in the Championship.
