Marko Arnautovic will make his West Ham debut tonight against his former club Werder Bremen in the first of two back-to-back fixtures for the Betway Cup.

Arnautovic represented the Bundesliga club between 2010-2013 before his move to Stoke City, making 83 appearances and scoring 16 goals.

The Austria international, who admits Bremen had some ‘tough’ years during his three seasons tenure with the club, says he cannot wait to face off against his old employers.

“I can’t wait for it and to play against them. I have a lot of friends still at the club there and I’m happy to see them again.” said Arnautovic on whufc.com. “It’s going to be a good game and we will play against them and of course we want to win against them, but we know it will be tough because German teams are always very fit and they can run a lot.

“We will show our quality and try to win these games on Friday and Saturday.”

West Ham take on Bremen at the Osterwald Stadium in Schneverdingen tonight at 17:30.
