Manchester City have rejected a season long loan bid from West Ham for out of favour goalkeeper Joe Hart, according to reports from The Mirror.

Hart, who spent last season on-loan at Serie A side Torino, still looks set to leave the Manchester club this summer however it appears City would prefer to sell on the England international rather than let him leave on loan for a second consecutive season.

City are asking for a reported £20-25 million for the keeper, however may have to lower their asking price as they yet to receive – besides West Ham’s loan offer – any bids for the player.

The Hammers are favourites to land Hart, however City’s high valuation as well as his £150,000 per week earnings could be potential roadblocks to the move going through.

A number of Premier League clubs and EFL sides are also interested in the 30-year-old shot stopper, including Aston Villa and Liverpool.
