West Ham are lining up a bid for £13m (€15m) rated Besiktas midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup, according to Takvim (via kartalbakisi.com).
The Turkish newspaper reports that Hammers boss Slaven Bilic has made the 24 year old a top transfer target for the summer, and that they will make an attempt to sign the midfielder.
Besiktas president Fikret Orman is believed to have placed a €15m price tag on Ozyakup although this could likely be lowered once negotiations over a transfer begin.
Ozyakup has had a good season for Besiktas, helping the Turkish club to their second consecutive league title. He played 40 times in all competitions, scoring five times and providing ten assists.
The Dutch born Turkish international has previously spent four years in London, making his way through Arsenal’s academy between 2008 and 2012. He then left the Gunners for Besiktas where he has established himself as a key creative player in the middle of the park.
