Prepare to be excited Hammers fans, for what you are about to watch may just get you out of your seat. That is if you are sitting of course. If not, well then be prepared to jump, hop or skip with excitement just a little.
Eupen forward Henry Onyekuru has recently established himself as one of Europe’s most sought after young talent after a terrific debut season in the Belgian First Division in which he finished joint top scorer, and according to reports from Sky Sports, West Ham are currently leading the seven man race to sign the exciting Nigerian starlet.
Arsenal had formerly been favourites to secure the forward’s sought after signature, however it is now the Hammers who lead the charge as Eupen only yesterday rejected a £7 million bid from West Ham for Onyekuru. It is widely expected that Slaven Bilic’s side will return with a more suitable offer in the coming days.
While it may be early days, and perhaps a little too early to get REALLY excited, there is no harm in taking a quick sneak peak at the man who MAY (and I stress that) find himself at the London Stadium next season. If the rumours are to be true, the West Ham faithful will have plenty to look forward to if this video is anything to go by ….
