West Ham today unveiled their new home strip for the 2017/18 campaign.
As part of the official release, Club stars Andy Carroll, Manuel Lanzini and Mark Noble can be seen modelling the new kit ahead of the Hammer’s second season at the London Stadium.
Photo’s of the kit had previously leaked online after it was found to be for sale abroad, and the official release confirms the aforementioned were indeed of the genuine article.
The classic claret and blue kit feature’s the club’s modernised crest, as well as a retro looking chevron down from the neck – a throwback to the home kit of 1993-1995. The collar on the shirt has also undergone a redesign, with a circular claret neck with blue trim now present in favour of the white strap design of last season. Betway remains the club’s shirt sponsor for the year.
Hammer’s fans are happy – for the most part anyway – and have taken to Twitter to share their opinions on their club’s new attire for the coming campaign …
I like the new West Ham kit. White shorts. White socks. Just how it should be.

The kit looks so much better on. Need to see it in person to make the final judgment

Lovely kit, it's nowhere near same as West Ham's last year. Different collar, sleeves, design on front, colour position changes.

In my view that's a much nicer kit & more traditional then last years. Should always be white shorts & socks. #WestHam

I did say ‘almost’ everyone …
West Ham are the new Man U now with there yearly kit changes with barely any difference whatsoever. Rip off

With the current price of football kits, there will be many fans who will try to win a West Ham jersey, but will you be forking out for one?
