West Ham goalkeeper Adrian could be on the way out of the London Stadium this summer with Newcastle said to interested in the Spaniard.

The Sun state that the Rafael Benitez had identified 34-year-old Napoli and former Liverpool shot-stopper Pepe Reina as his number one target, however could move for Adrian should he be unable to lure Reina to St. James Park.

The Magpies are looking for a new number one in place of Karl Darlow and amidst interest from Belgian side Genk and Anderlecht in Mats Selz, with Benitez hoping the cash for Selz could help fund a potential transfer for a new man between the sticks.

Adrian has had a difficult season at the London Stadium, making only 19 appearances in total as he had to share the goalkeeping spoils with team-mate Darren Randolph, who has established himself as the more regular starter under Slaven Bilic.

The 30-year-old keeper moved to West Ham back in 2013 from Real Betis and has since made 123 appearances in Claret and Blue.
