West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to express their frustration at their club’s lack of transfer activity.
Since the end of the season, Slaven Bilic has added but one new face to his roster – that being Pablo Zabaleta from Manchester City – yet has seen a total of 8 players leave the club either on loan or permanently. Amongst those to depart the London Stadium are: Reece Oxford, who joined Borussia Monchengladbach on a season long loan; Havard Nordtveit who made a return to the Bundesliga after only one season and Alvaro Arbeloa, who was released.
There certainly hasn’t been a lack of activity in terms of the number of players linked with a move to the Hammers, yet none have yet to come to fruition. Olivier Giroud, Henry Onyekuru, Adama Traore, Chris Smalling and Joe Hart are all – amongst many, many others – proposed to be set to move to East London before the season starts, but the powers that be will now have to act quickly if they are to secure their targets before the club embark on their pre-season tour of Europe in mid-July.
Hammers fans have showed their anger on Twitter, and some of the responses are downright hilarious …
Giroud: Wenger wants.
Iheanacho: Leicester favourites.
Hart: loan rejected.
Onyekuru: won't pay £870k more.
Adama: bid half of asking price. pic.twitter.com/jXTmJkbaQ4— West Ham (C)entral 🏆 (@WestHam_Central) June 23, 2017

I thought this move was meant to "ATTRACT PLAYERS"
So far it's attracted Zaza and Calleri.
