Former Hammers target Harry Maguire is set to join former Premier League champions Leicester City in a deal worth £17 million, according to reports from the BBC.

The BBC report that a £12m fee with add-ons has been agreed and a medical has been completed for the Hull City defender, with his former club Sheffield United also set to profit from the move. Maguire left United in 2014, but the club agreed a ‘sell-on’ clause with the Tigers and are now entitled to 10% of any transfer fee.

A host of Premier League clubs, including Tottenham, Everton, Southampton and of course West Ham were reported to be keen on the defender after his impressive displays last season, however with the 24-year-old now set to make the move to the King Power Stadium, they will have to look elsewhere for defensive reinforcements.

Maguire played a total of 36 times for Hull City last season, scoring three goals and producing two assists from centre-half.
