Inter Milan are interested in signing West Ham left back Arthur Masuaku, according to the Corriere Dello Sport (via calciomercato.com).
The Frenchman only signed from Olympiakos last summer but the Italian newspaper are reporting that the Serie A side are keen on the 23 year old. He was previously linked with a switch to Roma.
The full back initially struggled in a Hammers shirt after starting the first five league matches of the season. Slaven Bilic’s side lost four of those games, conceding 13 goals in the process. The defender was then sidelined with a knee injury which kept him out for almost five months.
On his return to action he began to show some promise in both the left back and left wing back roles, starting five games in a row during April before a foot injury sustained against Stoke City sidelined him once again.
Since his £6m transfer in August, Masuaku has featured 15 times for the Hammers, making 12 starts in all competitions.
