The Corriere Dello Sport (via calciomercato.com) are reporting that Inter Milan are prepared to give forward Eder to West Ham as part of a deal which would see left back Arthur Masuaku move to Italy.

The Italian has struggled since joining from Sampdoria in January 2016. After an initial loan period, he signed permanently for £8.3m last summer but he has started just 18 games this season, having scored eight goals and provided five assists in all competitions.

He has ostensibly been used as a left winger by the Nerazzurri this campaign, and although the 30 year old can be used right across a front three, most of his goals for previous club Sampdoria came when he played as a central striker.

He has scored just nine times in 54 games for Inter, while at Sampdoria his goal per games ratio was much higher, scoring 49 in 135 appearances. It seems unlikely Hammers boss Slaven Bilic would consider a move for the the Brazilian born Italian international considering the Croatian’s last attempt to sign a player from Italy (Simone Zaza) was so unsuccessful, but we will wait and see.
