West Ham will look to offer £17m plus Adrian in a bid to sign Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, according to the Sun.

Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is said to be willing to allow Adrian to leave as part of the deal. The Spaniard is valued at £8m, making the offer worth £25m to the Black Cats. A source told the Sun that West Ham are looking to steal a march on Everton and other clubs:

“Jordan is wanted by a whole host of clubs. Everton have showed the most interest but West Ham have now made enquiries too. And it has been proposed that Adrian can come in the opposite direction to replace Jordan.”

The Hammers triggered their option to give Adrian a two year contract extension earlier this month but despite the new deal, the 30 year old has been linked with a move away from the London Stadium.

The former Real Betis keeper lost his first team place to Darren Randolph back in November before winning it back for the final five league matches of the season.  It seems clear however that Bilic is not convinced by the options he has available to him between the sticks.

Pickford has been highly sought after due to his performances for the Black Cats but since he was born on Wearside, he will likely only leave if and when Sunderland receive a bid that is too good to turn down. Whether the reported proposal from West Ham is enough, we will have to wait and see.
