West Ham will return to contract talks with Michail Antonio in the summer, according to the Daily Express.

The 26 year old is demanding parity with the salaries given to January signings Jose Fonte and Robert Snodgrass. Antonio is currently on £35,000 a week, and this would need to be doubled to match both Fonte and Snodgrass who are reportedly on £70,000.

A new deal has been offered to the player but it is believed the offer was short of matching his West Ham team mates’ wages, and that has led to the Times reporting that the midfielder wants out from the club.

The Hammers are believed to be adamant on keeping the winger despite the dispute. Chelsea were said to be interested in the player in the January transfer window but it is not known whether they will return in the summer, and follow up with a bid to test West Ham’s resolve.
