The Mirror are reporting that former Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri has placed Premier League clubs on alert after indicating that he would like his next managerial role to be in England.

The newspaper says the news is of particular interest to West Ham and Southampton who have been linked with making a managerial change in the summer.

There has been speculation over Hammers boss Slaven Bilic’s for a number of months due to the club’s poor form for the majority of the campaign. Recent reports have however suggested the Croatian will be given another season by West Ham’s owners.

Question marks over Bilic’s long term future at the London Stadium remain though, after it was reported that the Hammers have no intention of giving the former Besiktas boss a new contract, despite the fact his current deal has just 12 months to run.

Ranieri meanwhile has been out of work since being sacked by the Foxes in February, and he has also been strongly linked with a move to Ligue One side Nice.
