Fenerbahce have joined the race to sign Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure, according to Fotospor.

The Turkish publication say that Toure’s agent Dimitri Seluk’s comments to Sky Sports yesterday confirm the club’s interest despite Seluk not actually mentioning any team by name.

The Ivorian is said to be weighing up options with his current contract expiring at the end of June. West Ham have been linked with a move for the 34 year old but Sky Sports report that Seluk told them that the Hammers had not been in contact.

Toure is believed to be keen to remain at City, but he will consider offers in the summer, with Champions League football not a determining factor as the midfielder seeks an ambitious project for his next challenge if decides to leave the Etihad stadium.

We will likely learn move about the City star’s decision after the club’s final game of the season against Watford on Sunday.
