Malaga are interested in signing West Ham goalkeeper Adrian, according to Marca. They also report that Deportivo La Coruna and Real Betis are monitoring the 30 year old’s situation.

The Spanish newspaper says that Malaga are looking to bring in competition for current number one Carlos Kameni. The Cameroonian has had an excellent season between the sticks but new head coach Michel is seeking more goalkeeping options.

Adrian has recently had his contract extended by a further year by the Hammers, and he has managed to regain his place in the starting lineup in the last two games against Everton and Stoke City.

Much may depend on whether West Ham seek a new goalkeeper in the summer. The Spanish stopper revealed in a recent interview his unhappiness about having to settle for a place on the bench after being dropped for Darren Randolph back in November.

It is likely that La Liga sides will make their move in the summer if it becomes clear he isn’t going to be first choice for the Hammers next season.
