West Ham have joined Everton, Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham in the race to sign Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, according to the Sun.

The 23 year old could be available for £15million if the Black Cats are relegated from the Premier League, which is an increasingly likely possibility. The England Under 21 international will reportedly want to be first choice at whichever club he joins, which gives the Hammers and Everton an advantage over the competition.

West Ham do have two first team goalkeepers in Darren Randolph and Adrian but neither has been entirely convincing this season, with the club heavily linked with Manchester City’s Joe Hart and Chelsea’s Asmir Begovic earlier in the campaign. Everton meanwhile are seeking to replace Joel Robles  in goal for next season.

Pickford has been impressive since breaking into the first team at the end of August. He is yet to gain a full international cap but has been tipped as a future England number one.
