PSV Eindhoven right back Santiago Arias has admitted that his agent is trying to secure a move for him to either the English Premier League, the German Bundesliga or the Spanish La Liga.

West Ham were heavily linked with the Colombian international in the January transfer window but no offer was made for the 25 year old. The Hammers may return in the summer as they seek to strengthen their options on the right side of defence, and it seems Arias would be open to such a move. Talking to Dutch newspaper Algemen Dagblad, the defender said:

“I have a contract until 2019 with PSV, but I am ready for the next step. In the summer I hope there is clarity as soon as possible. My agent knows I want to go to Germany, England or Spain and is working on that. After four seasons in Eindhoven it feels like an end of a cycle.”

Arias has been playing in the Eredivisie since 2013 when he moved from Sporting Lisbon for just €675,000. Since then the player has made 134 appearances for PSV, including 31 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring one goal and providing six assists. He is also Colombia’s first choice right back, making 31 appearances since his debut against Paraguay in 2013.
