Liverpool and England striker Daniel Sturridge is likely to be sold to either West Ham or Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports in The Mirror.

The paper claim that PSG “are ready to make a move” for the frontman, who was missing from the squad for Liverpool’s 3-1 destruction of Arsenal on Saturday.

Sturridge has struggled to force his way into manager Jurgen Klopp’s plans and has is reportedly unsettled at Anfield.

The Mirror say that the Reds “will listen to offers” for the 27-year-old at the end of the season with PSG in the driving seat.

However, PSG would allegedly prefer to take the injury-prone striker on loan rather than pay Liverpool’s £30m asking price, and that may well give hope to the perpetually linked Hammers.

Slaven Bilic is said to be desperate to recruit a striker with an impressive Premier League record this summer and Sturridge, if he could stay fit, would fit that bill.

West Ham are reportedly willing to sign Sturridge permanently, but it remains to be seen whether Sturridge could be convinced to join a club unlikely at least this season to gain a European football place.

Regardless, The Mirror say with confidence that Jurgen Klopp has decided “Sturridge’s days on Merseyside are numbered”.
