West Ham are considering making a move for Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi, according to the Daily Mail.

The Belgian has struggled for game time under Antonio Conte this season since moving from Marseille for £33million in the summer. The Hammers also had a bid accepted by the Ligue One side but the 23 year old opted for the Blues instead.

His lack of minutes has however meant that Batshuayi and Chelsea will consider offers at the end of the season. It seems the Blues are keener on a season long loan than a permanent sale, and that may suit West Ham as they seek to strengthen their forward line.

Whether Chelsea will allow the Belgian to sign for another Premier League club it is not known, but the striker will no doubt be keener on getting more first team football.

Batshuayi has not made a start in the Premier League this season, with 16 substitute appearances to his name, although he has made starts in both the FA Cup and the EFL Cup. In 22 games in total this campaign, the forward has hit the back of the net five times.
