West Ham and Arsenal are the main challengers for Porto keeper Iker Casillas, according to Tribal Football.

The World Cup winner and former Real Madrid star is deciding on his next move with his current contract in Portugal expiring at the end of the season.

The 35 year old has reportedly set his sights on London, according to Spanish publication Don Balon, who say Casillas’s wife Sara Carbonero, a journalist and TV presenter, is keen on a move to the British capital.

They say Casillas’s preferred destination would be either Chelsea or Arsenal. It would however require Blues keeper Thibaut Courtois to departĀ for Real Madrid, or a change in the goalkeeping situation at the Gunners, for either move to be a realistic possibility.

This leaves West Ham as a potential alternative if Casillas does opt for the Premier League. The Hammers have made Darren Randolph the number one goalkeeper after Adrian’s travails earlier in the season, but they may be open to strengthening the position if they find the right option.
