West Ham midfielder Domingos Quina has not ruled out playing for England in the future if the opportunity arises.

The Portuguese starlet was born in Guinea-Bissau before moving to Portugal, and started out at Benfica’s academy. He however made the move to England in 2013 to play for Chelsea before switching to the Hammers last summer.

The 17 year old is currently playing with Portugal’s Under 19 side but he will soon qualify to play for England if he chooses to. In an interview with the Sun, Quina did not rule out switching allegiances.

“Right now I play for Portugal Under 19’s, but you never know what could happen in the future. I’ll have a decision to make about that soon.”

The attacking midfielder has yet to play in a Premier League match for West Ham but manager Slaven Bilic did give him game time in the summer when the Hammers faced NK Domzale in the Europa League. He came on as a substitute in both legs of the third qualifying round tie, and has continued to impress playing for the Under 23s this season.
