AC Milan winger Gerard Deulofeu has spoken out about his future after speculation linking him with a number of clubs over the past few weeks.

The Spaniard scored for Spain in a 2-0 win over France in Paris on Tuesday, and there has been talk of a return to Barcelona at the end of his loan spell in Italy.

The 23 year old is still an Everton player but Milan were hopeful of signing him on a permanent basis at the end of the season. Barca however have a buyback clause in their deal with the Blues which could see him return to Catalonia instead. West Ham have also been interested in the winger in recent times.

Speaking about next season (quotes via infocatania.com), Deulofeu declared he is not focused on where his future lies and is enjoying the football he is currently playing at the San Siro:

“I’m happy, I’m doing well and I want to continue like this. I think of the present. In football, I’ve learned to forget the past, the future will come.”

Since moving to Italy in January, the winger has played 10 times, scoring one goal and providing four assists.
