Michail Antonio is reportedly about to be rewarded for his fine form in a Hammers shirt with a new deal at London Stadium.

Slaven Bilic is aware of interest in the goal scoring midfielder from Chelsea and Arsenal and is keen to tie down his explosive wide man as soon as possible, according to reports in the Mail.

Antonio’s is currently on a £35,000 per week deal at West Ham but that is set to significantly increase.

The 26-year-old is said to be on the verge of being offered £70,000 per week to stay at West Ham, where he has impressed since moving from Nottingham Forest in 2015.

Dimitri Payet’s departure in January saw the club clear £125,000 per week in wages off the books and West Ham’s owners are looking to reinvest.

Antonio has helped to fill the void left by the Frenchman and has been key to the club’s recent upsurge in form.

The versatile midfielder has been deployed both as a makeshift right back and centre forward, as well as in his natural position on the wing this season.

It was Antonio’s shot which deflected off both posts at Vicarage Road at the weekend before falling to Andre Ayew to slot home.

But Antonio later received a second yellow card in the match and is now banned for Monday’s clash against Chelsea.
