West Ham are looking at Hull City’s young left back Josh Tymon, according to Daily Mail journalist Joe Bernstein.

The 17 year old has already made 13 appearances for the Tigers after making his debut under Steve Bruce in a FA Cup tie against Bury in January last year. Since then he has featured under both Mike Phelan and current boss Marco Silva.

Remarkably though, the Sun and the Mail report Tymon is still playing on an Academy wage worth just £160 a week, and there has been no sign that an agreement over a professional deal is on the horizon.

This season, Tymon has made seven starts, three in the Premier League, and scored his first goal for the club back in January, sealing a 2-0 win over Swansea in the FA Cup after coming on as an 89th minute substitute.

The England Under 17 international is certainly one of the league’s brightest prospects and it seems the Hammers are keen on snapping up the player as they seek to develop young English talent.
