West Ham are expecting more bids from the Chinese Super League for striker Andy Carroll in the summer, according to the Mirror.

Three clubs Hebei China Fortune, Tianjin Quanjian and Shandong Luneng reportedly offered up to £32million for the forward in the January transfer window and the Hammers believe that more attempts to sign the 28 year old will be made at the end of the season when the striker will have just two years left on his contract.

Carroll is on £100,000 a week which takes up a sizeable portion of the Hammers’ wage budget, and considering his two and a half years at the club have been plagued by injuries, the London club maybe tempted to cash in.

No sale was considered in January due to how light Slaven Bilic’s side are in striking areas. Diafra Sakho remains injured while Simone Zaza left for Valencia in the winter window. After West Ham pulled out of a move for Brentford’s Scott Hogan, there was no likelihood of the club letting Carroll go, although that may change in the summer when the Hammers could strengthen their front line options.
