It’s likely to be a busy summer for Slaven Bilic and West Ham, who have a number of problem positions to fill.
Right-back is the chief concern at the moment with a succession of players over the years, from Carl Jenkinson to Alvaro Arbeloa to Sam Byram, having failed to make the position their own in recent times.
Up front also poses a problem for the Hammers as they look to at last sign a prolific striker capable of remaining fit through a season to score 15 or more league goals.
West Ham have also suffered between the sticks this season and could look to sign a younger goalkeeper who could serve the club for a number of years, especially if Adrian leaves at the end of his contract in July.
Elsewhere, Mark Noble’s worrying form in central midfield could warrant a move for a centre midfielder or two, while the potential loss of Sofiane Feghouli and Gokhan Tore could mean Slaven Bilic looks for a new wide man.
West Ham have been linked with a whole raft of players since the January transfer window with a number of moves looking very possible.
