Chelsea could take a huge stride towards the Premier League title should they win tonight’s London derby against West Ham.
The Blues have been in stunning form all season under Antonio Conte’s management and need to win 10 of their 12 remaining games to ensure they lift the trophy.
That amount of wins might sound unrealistic but Chelsea have dropped just 15 points from a possible 78 points this season and are cruising seven points ahead of nearest challengers Tottenham with a game in hand.
West Ham now stand in the way of Chelsea extending their lead to 10 points, and Slaven Bilic’s men will take confidence from recent performances which have seen them rise into the top half of the table after a horrendous start to the season.
The Hammers will have a massive task on their hands to get a result but nothing is impossible in the Premier League, and if the Hammers play their cards perfectly they are more than capable of causing an upset which could make things interesting in the title race.
