4. Mario Mandžukić
Croatian international Mario Mandžukić was linked with the Hammers last year and might be deemed surplus to requirements at Juventus, with first-choice striker Gonzalo Higuaín continuing to impress in white and black. As a fellow Croatian, Slaven Bilic would be the perfect influence to help guide Mandžukić through his first experience in English football. The 30-year-old would come relatively cheaply and has been prolific wherever he’s been in his career. In terms of cheap options up front, there aren’t many better options.
