Scouts from West Ham as well as Leicester City and Everton scouted Brazilian winger Jonathan Cafu in the Europa League on Thursday.

Representatives from all three Premier League clubs were in attendance as Cafu’s Ludogorets side lost their round of 32 first-leg clash to FC Copenhagen 2-1, according to ClubCall.

Despite the disappointing result, Cafu set up a number of chances and looked lively in a showing which could convince one of the clubs to prepare a bid.

Earlier reports from Italy claimed that the Hammers missed out of the talented wide-man in a last-minute move during the January transfer window, with an £8 million bid turned down by the Bulgarian champions.

Cafu caught the eye during Ludogorets’ Champions League clashes against Arsenal and PSG before the club were demoted to the Europa League.

The 25-year-old has scored 11 goals for Ludogorets already this season, who he joined from Sao Paolo in July 2015 for just £1.9 million.

Wherever Cafu’s destination, Ludogorets look guaranteed to make a considerable profit on their investment.
