Michail Antonio has admitted he is unsure whether he will sign a new contract with West Ham.

The 26-year-old received his first call-up to the England squad back in September and has been a revelation for the Hammers since he joined in 2015.

Reports have circulated that Chelsea and Manchester United could be on the verge of making bids for the powerful wideman, but Sky Sports News report that the club’s owners have “no intention” of selling him.

The fan favourite remained coy when was asked about his chances of signing a new contract in the near future. Antonio told Sky Sports News HQ:

“Right now, nothing is really happening on the contract talks.

“We’ll just see how things go. At the moment my head is not being swayed in any way. I just want to play my football and whatever happens, happens.

“We’ll see.”

Antonio scored eight goals in 26 matches in an exceptional debut season for the Hammers despite turning out at right back for a number of appearances.

He is West Ham’s top scorer in the Premier League this season after netting 8 goals in just 24 games.
