Arthur Masuaku is just two weeks away from returning to action for West Ham in yet more good news for manager Slaven Bilic.

The left back hasn’t featured for the Hammers since their 1-5 home decimation by Arsenal in December due to a knee ligament injury.

The Frenchman was returning from another lay off in that game and hasn’t been fit for two matches in a row since all the way back in September.

But Masuaku is set to return to action for West Ham for the first time in several weeks and could feature before the end of the month. His return date is set at February 25, according to sports injury website Physio Room.

That would make Masuaku available for West Ham’s crunch match at home to Chelsea early next month.

Worries over Aaron Cresswell’s form have arisen after a number of disappointing performances, culminating in a calamitous display at home to Manchester City last week.

But Cresswell looked back to his best during the game against Southampton and could yet fight off Masuaku’s claim to his position.

Hammers striker Diafra Sakho is pencilled in to return from a back injury sometime in mid-March, while Havard Nordtveit continues to recover from an ankle knock.
