West Ham’s 4-2 home loss to Watford back in September came at a time when the club was in a rut off the pitch and an abject disaster on it.

But with Dimitri Payet gone Slaven Bilic has seen his side put in a number of improved performances which will undoubtedly give the Hammers confidence going in to today’s clash at Vicarage Road.

Former West Ham maestro Mauro Zarate is back in England with Watford and is set to start on the left for the Hornets – and the ever-unpredictable Argentine could pose a threat down the Hammers’ weak right hand side.

But as ever, Troy Deeney is likely to be the main threat for Watford and with talent such as Valon Behrami, Etienne Capoue and M’Baye Niang behind him, Slaven Biic’s men will have their work cut out to claim a much-needed clean sheet.
