Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes is expected to leave the Serie A side by the close of the transfer window, and the Argentine’s two likeliest destinations are West Ham and Tottenham, according to the Corriere Dello Sport.
The Italian newspaper has reported that Roma are close to sealing a €25million move for Atalanta midfielder Franck Kessie, who will join them in July, but it means Paredes is surplus to requirements at the Stadio Olimpico.
Paredes is a talented central midfielder with a good passing range. He has started 13 times in all competitions for Roma this season, and his six international caps for Argentina at under 17 level.
The 22 year old has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs but in recent days the Italian press have reported that the player has been subject to a €25million bid from Juventus. It is however believed that Roma’s asking price is closer to €30m (£26m).
