Nottingham Forest, Brentford and Rangers have all enquired about signing West Ham defender on loan, reports the Mirror.

Scottish Premiership side Rangers have been linked with Oxford for a number of months but the interest from is a new development, and it seems the side could make a bid before the deadline.

Oxford’s last appearance for West Ham came in a Europa League qualifier against Astra Giurgiu back in August, but has been suffering with an ankle injury since the end of October.

The centre back only returned to full fitness at the start of this month, and has been named on the bench by Slaven Bilic for the last three games. boss may feel that a loan spell could be good to improve his match sharpness, and also allow him to gain much needed experience playing either in the or in the top flight of Scottish football.
