West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis is interested in signing West Ham target Robert Snodgrass from Hull City, according to the Mirror. They are reporting that the Baggies boss will employ the services of West Brom captain and Scotland team mate Darren Fletcher to try and persuade Snodgrass to move to the Hawthorns.

West Ham’s first offer of £3million was rejected by Hull for Snodgrass but Sky Sports have reported that the Hammers have made an improved bid of £5million.

West Brom are said to have a quite sizeable January transfer budget after failing to land some of their key transfer targets in the summer, and there is a danger that they could outbid West Ham for Snodgrass if they make an approach.

The 29 year old’s contract expires at the end in the summer of 2018 but after the Scottish international rejected a new deal, West Ham and West Brom are believed to be keen on signing the player this month.
