French Ligue One club Lille are the second club to have made an enquiry about Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi, according to both the Evening Standard and the Daily Mail.

Chelsea are adamant that they don’t want the Belgian international to leave in the January transfer window but the player will surely be frustrated by his lack of game time since arriving from Marseille for £33million in the summer.

The Hammers bid for the 23 year old in the summer and are believed to have also enquired to the Blues about the player’s availability on loan this month.

It is unlikely however that Blues manager Antonio Conte will allow the forward to leave for either or West Ham. Hammers boss Slaven Bilic has certainly been looking at other targets with a move for Batshuayi seemingly out of reach. Bids for Jermain Defoe and Brentford’s Scott Hogan have been rejected but it looks likely they will return with further bids for the pair.
