West Ham could be set to lose out on the signing on AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca, according to Tuttosport. The Italian newspaper report that the Colombian is the target for three Chinese Super League clubs.

Guangzhou Evergrande, Shanghai Shenhua and Tianjin Quanjia are all said to be prepared to pay £30million for the 30 year old, and will also offer the striker a significant pay increase on his current salary at the San Siro.

The Hammers had a £25million bid accepted in the summer for Bacca but the the former Sevilla striker was reluctant to make a move due to concerns over settling in London.

Manager Slaven Bilic has been pursuing striker targets in the January transfer window but it looks as though the Hammers have moved on from Bacca. The club’s two key targets are Jermain Defoe and Scott Hogan, who are both valued under half what the Chinese clubs are prepared to offer for Bacca. It looks as though West Ham won’t be involved in the bidding war for the Colombian.
