Valencia are planning a double raid on Juventus for their Brazilian midfielder Hernanes and for striker Simone Zaza, according to AS. The Spanish newspaper report that Valencia are anticipating West Ham returning Zaza to his parent club when the January transfer window opens.

The La Liga’s club’s manager Cesare Prandelli is struggling to turn round his side’s dire form after they lost to Real Sociedad at the weekend leaving Valencia dangerously close to the relegation zone in 17th place.

Prandelli is looking to his native Italy to strengthen his squad, and it looks certain that they will make a move for Zaza after consistent reports in the Spanish media in recent days.

The final confirmation about Zaza’s future in London came when he was left out of the squad to play Liverpool at the weekend. It looks likely that the loan will be cut short in order for the 25 year old to return to Turin, and make the switch to Spain.

Valencia seem to be leading Italian clubs for Zaza’s signature as they have good relations with Juventus after negotiations involving the potential transfer of Andre Gomes to the Serie A champions. Although the player opted to move to Barcelona, the Spanish club have remained interested in a number of Juve players who were originally part of the swap deal that would have taken Gomes to Italy.
