Radio Monte Carlo (via AS) are reporting that La Liga side Sevilla are interested in signing Anthony Martial from Manchester United. West Ham had reportedly enquired about signing the French forward on loan last week.

The Spanish club looked to have made the first steps in attempting to sign the 21 year old. Their Sporting Director Monchi is said to have already contacted Martial’s agent to see whether the French international would be interested in a move to Spain.

Martial was signed from Monaco for an initial £36million back in 2015 under then manager Louis Van Gaal. United may have to pay £58million after appearance fees and add-ons, but the striker has fallen out of favour under current boss Jose Mourinho in recent matches.

It is believed Monchi wants to reduce the initial transfer fee by saying they can match Manchester United £3million a year salary for the player but whether United would allow Martial to leave on a permanent deal in January seems unlikely.
