West Ham are looking at bringing in RB Leipzig striker Davie Selke on loan in the January transfer window, the Sun reports. Selke is only 21 years of age but is a target man who could be a direct replacement for Simone Zaza.

Zaza is expected to have his loan at the Hammers cut short to return to parent club Juventus when the windows opens in a couple of weeks. With Bilic believed to have limited funding after being told he has to sell before he buys, a temporary move for Selke may be possible option/

Selke moved down a division from Werder Bremen to play for Leipzig last season but manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has changed formation this campaign and Selke has started just one match so far in the Bundesliga.

Despite his lack of starts, the forward has still managed two goals in nine appearances, but due to his minimal game time, Leipzig could sanction a loan to the Hammers, although Everton and Swansea are also said to be interested in the player.
