Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic is the first name on West Ham’s list of January transfer targets, according to ESPN FC. The Bosnian international has been linked with a move to the Hammers over the past couple of months with Adrian under performing in the league this season.
Republican of Ireland number one Darren Randolph has replaced the Spaniard in goal for the last two league matches but it looks as if Slaven Bilic is seeking another alternative.
Begovic joined Chelsea from Stoke City for £8million at the start of last season but has had to play second fiddle to first choice keeper Thibaut Courtois and may want to leave in order to play more regularly.
West Ham are believed to want the 29 year old on loan until the end of the season, but whether Chelsea manager Antonio Conte will approve of the player leaving without finding an able deputy to replace him remains to be seen.
