It’s been a tough start to the season for West Ham and things have only just recently begun to turn around.
The club were in the relegation zone earlier this year as injured and out of form players plagued their start whilst struggles with settling into their new stadium also became a bigger problem as time wore on.
Nevertheless, there has been a bit of a turnaround.
Back to back wins against Crystal Palace and Sunderland got the side out of the bottom three and, despite losing to Everton, they have been looking far more like the side of last season that did so well.
Even in that Everton game the Hammers had chances to score and take the three points but things did not end up falling for them.
Over the last few months Slaven Bilic will have found out a lot about his side and he’ll have also noticed the players that need to be doing more for him over the next few months.
