So far the verdict on West Ham’s season has been, could have been better but could have been worse.
The Hammers had to endure a torrid start to the campaign as players appeared out of form and many were out injured but things have seemed to turn around slightly leaving them in a rescuable position.
The key is now, this season, to not bother thinking about what has gone so far this year and just to try and build on their improving confidence as we head into one of the busiest periods of the season.
There’s plenty of points up for grabs, then, and come January we’ll have a better picture of where the Hammers are at.
It wouldn’t be a shock, though, if Slaven Bilic already knows where he wants to strengthen in the January transfer window and we reckon it’s for these three positions he’ll try and find some options…
