West Ham are interested in signing former Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi, according to Sports.fr. The 31 year old is currently playing in China on a very high salary but a return to Europe looks like a possibility.
The Argentinian international has also been linked with his former club Napoli, as well as a return to Argentina with Boca Juniors but Slaven Bilic is said to be keen on bringing in the striker to shore up his forward options in the January transfer window.
Lavezzi only signed for Hebei China Fortune for €4million back in February, and is believed to be earning around €10m per year with bonuses up to €6m. In 10 appearances in the Chinese Super League however, Lavezzi has yet to score.
He has a contract until next December so he will be expected to play a second season in China when the 2017 Super League starts in March.
