Constant is currently a free agent after leaving Bologna this summer and could well provide an able short-term solution as Cresswell and Masuaku push towards a return.

The 29-year-old Guinea international was on AC Milan’s books for two years between 2012 and 2014 and also played for Turkish side Trabzonspor for a season.
