West Ham United youngster Reece Oxford’s future at the London club is under question, with The Daily Mail again stating that contract negotiations between the teenager and the Premier League outfit have broken down.

The sublimely gifted defender is adjudged to be the brightest prospect in the Hammers youth ranks and a potential future England international.

Oxford shone in a number of cameo roles for West Ham last season, including in an excellent showing against London rivals Arsenal on the opening day of the campaign, which his side won 2-0.

Given the problems the Irons currently face, Slaven Bilic will surely be considering throwing the young star into his side in an attempt to improve their defensive fortunes in the Premier League.

The latest report suggests that Oxford is stalling on extending his terms with West Ham however, and that Manchester United are leading the race for his signature, with Arsenal and Manchester City also interested.
