Swansea City are interested in signing Leciester City’s Leonardo Ulloa and Stoke City’s Peter Crouch according to reports from Sky and the Daily Mail.

The Swans were also understood to be keen on signing Fernando Llorente from Sevilla in a £6 million deal but his agent confirmed today that the striker would not be leaving the Spanish side this summer.

Ulloa could depart the Champions this summer as he believes that first team opportunities may be hard to come by this season.

Fellow Premier League target man Peter Crouch could also be looking to move clubs as the 35-year-old started just four Premier League games last season.

West Ham’s hopes of securing a deal for Swansea forward Andre Ayew rests on whether the Welsh side can bring in enough front men to replace the Ghanaian forward.

Ayew, who scored 12 league goals last season, was the subject of a £20 million bid from West Ham last week. The player is reportedly keen on joining the Hammers and the board have matched Swansea’s valuation of the player.

With Ayew the only recognised senior forward left at the club, Swansea are in desperate need of reinforcements up front. With a number of strikers linked to the Liberty Stadium in recent days, it has now become apparent that the Welsh side are eyeing up potential Ayew replacements.

The Hammers themselves are reportedly keen to get the deal over the line as they are in need of adding fresh faces to their squad. West Ham are aiming to bring in two strikers in addition to Andre Ayew before the end of the transfer window. Argentine striker Jonathan Calleri has now confirmed that he will join the Hammers in the near future and the Hammers are also interested in Carlos Bacca and Christian Benteke as they search for a marquee striker signing.
