West Ham United have not given up hope of signing AC Milan forward Carlos Bacca and have made another offer to the Colombian forward, according to The Daily Mail.

The Hammers have been searching for a new number nine all summer long and had an offer for the South American centre forward accepted a couple of weeks ago.

After careful deliberation, Bacca made a statement detailing his intention to stay with the famous Italian club and rejecting a switch to the London Stadium.

However, with Andy Carroll and Andre Ayew both on the injury list, West Ham are believed to have returned with a new offer to the former Sevilla hotshot.

The report suggests that more of the potential transfer fee would be paid to AC Milan up front, while Bacca’s wages would be doubled from £60,000 per week to £120,000 per week.

It remains to be seen whether the Colombia international will change his mind after committing to the Rossoneri publicly.
